• The posting and advertising of volunteer and paid post vacancies on doyouthwork.com is open to youth work organisations in Surrey only.

• All volunteer and paid post vacancies are subject to verification and must fulfil all the criteria specified on the submission form before they are posted on the website.

• If a vacancy posted is viewed as not suitable Surrey CVYS reserve the right not to post the vacancy on doyouthwork.com.

• Vacancies will remain on the website until the closing date after which they will be removed unless requested to remain on the website by the organisation who submitted the advertisement.

• In such a case that an organisation requires their advertisement to remain on the website after the original closing date then they must resubmit their advertisement to the website with new amended details and await verification.

• If the advertisement was submitted via post then the organisation must re-submit a new form and post it to Surrey CVYS or telephone Surrey CVYS on the telephone number specified on the form or at the bottom of this page.

• Volunteer opportunities can specify advertisement to be ongoing by not stating a closing date, but you must inform doyouthwork.com when the position is filled and the advertisement is no longer required at the address at the bottom of this page.

• Surrey CVYS and Surrey County Council Youth Development Service are not responsible for the standards of the organisations who have posted advertisements or those applicants who submit applications to organisations who have advertised through doyouthwork.com

• It is the responsibility of the organisation posting the advertisement to ensure that adequate recruitment procedures are in place and followed including equal opportunities procedures, Criminal Record’s Bureau Checks and relevant experience and competence for the post in question.

• It is the responsibility of the applicant to vet the organisation they are applying to and ensure it is suitable for them, and to check that relevant checks and procedures are in place including Criminal Records Bureau Checks, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety and Child Protection Procedures.

• The views and opinions of any organisation posting an advertisment on doyouthwork.com do not necessarily reflect the views of Surrey CVYS, its members or Surrey County Council Youth Development Service.

• All photographs and case studies posted on doyouthwork.com have been obtained with prior permission of the author and the subject of the material.

• doyouthwork.com is under the management of Surrey CVYS Registered Charity: 1093718 and is funded by Surrey County Council Youth Development Service.
